US Work & Travel Dialogue (USWTD)

USWTD gathers the voices of Jamaican participants and those drawn to the US Work and Travel program. At its heart, the project reveals how a promise of cultural exchange becomes entangled with exploitation and racial violence, as students navigate the fragile balance between survival and dignity. By centering their recorded testimonies, I carry forward a collective voice of harm, resilience, and cautious hope. Together, we make visible what was meant to remain unseen.
